for those of you lucky enough not to be there, I’ll summarize it for you. First of all, it was pretty hot in the early afternoon— not long after we got there, we saw a woman being taken out on a stretcher (heat exhaustion more than likely). And then the rain came. I knew I should have brought my Cavaliers sweatshirt… that was the coldest rain I’ve ever felt! Pio had to finish their show in the rain, then a one-and-done pattern of corps, rain, corps, rain started up for awhile. Unfortunately, we ended up getting rained out for good right as Phantom Regiment was on the line. Then the Twin Cities ended up under a tornado warning and everyone was herded into the bathrooms. TCF Bank Stadium was a bit chaotic, let me tell you. We were in a bathroom up on the second floor, eventually they kicked us out and had us just sitting in the halls of the first floor. It was… not fun, at all.
